The following references were used during development of the CxA certification examination. This list is not intended as a comprehensive list of all materials available, but as a guide to those CxA candidates who want to enhance their understanding of commissioning concepts in preparation for the exam.

The Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) program has achieved accreditation by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI)! By gaining ANSI accreditation, the CxA credential is also now a recognized certification by the Department of Energy's Better Buildings® Workforce Guidelines program, ensuring that the CxA is considered an approved commissioning credential for all federally funded projects.
